How it works

We turn London’s food waste into small, powerful pellets that feed the soil and boost plant health.
Here’s our process in a nutshell:

Roasted Vegetables Close-up

1. Local food waste, collected

We work with London restaurants and hospitality venues to collect clean food scraps close to home. Short travel = lower emissions and fresher inputs.

2. Fermented to lock in nutrients

The food waste is fermented (a bit like making kimchi), which preserves nutrients,  and creates a rich, microbe-friendly base.

3. Dried and pelleted

After fermentation, the material is dried, then pressed into pellets. The result is clean, stable, and simple to store or scatter.

4. Back to the soil

Once applied, Earth Shots boost soil life, adds organic matter and releases nutrients slowly and steadily, helping plants grow stronger, healthier and more resilient.
